Slurry Store Covers Made to Measure

Covers for overground slurry stores increase the actual slurry storage of the tank by one-fifth, by keeping the rain out. It keeps in nitrogen that could otherwise be lost to the environment and reduces the cost of spreading rain water normally collected by the tank.

Our slurry store covers are made from reinforced dung resistant PVC polyester coated heavy duty fabric, tried and tested throughout Europe.

The cover is attached to the side of the tank with stainless steel tensioners and a centre support pole, cover has gas vents. Rain water is shed from the surface.

Our cover is a solution for BAT (Best Available Technique).

Enables end-user to comply with the environmental permit for intensive farming. Environment agencies recommendation that all slurry stores are now covered.
